We are on the lookout for talented Radar System Engineers to aid in the deployment of advanced Surface Navy sensors and Land-based Cruise Missile Defense systems. You'll engage in a collaborative environment where you'll analyze real-time tactical sensor data, tackle challenges impacting mission objectives, and compare findings with physics-based simulations to gain unparalleled insights into system performance against some of the toughest threats.

Your Role as a Radar System Engineer Includes:

  • Utilizing your technical expertise to creatively identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Working closely with teams comprising sensor engineers, software developers, combat system engineers, and physicists.
  • Developing and employing modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities, data analysis tools, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Applying signal processing techniques and machine learning to extensive datasets to formulate innovative algorithms.
  • Investigating and addressing issues arising from emerging phenomenology.

Minimum Qualifications:

You are a great fit for this position if you possess:

  • A BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field with some experience in sensor systems engineering.
  • A robust understanding of radar technology and phenomena that impact radar or communications systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A willingness to travel up to 5% of the time as necessary.
  • The ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately secure a Secret level clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following qualifications, you'll stand out in the selection process:

  • An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field along with over 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with advanced Department of Defense sensors and combat systems.
  • Proven leadership experience with technical teams.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $85,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
