Job Description

We are seeking a certified Echo Tech to join our team in a fast-paced EKG/Echo unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), as well as assisting with various echo-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TTE and TEE procedures, including bubble studies and post-TAVR evaluations.
  • Assist with echo-guided pericardiocentesis and pre-ablation TEE assessments.
  • Utilize new GE echocardiography machines and maintain a high standard of patient care.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective patient monitoring and management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Proven ability to perform TTE and TEE procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
