Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This position, set to start on Jan 5, 2026, offers a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The Psychiatrist will provide adult inpatient care, leveraging the Epic EMR system to enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will have experience in adult psychiatric settings and be board-certified in Psychiatry.

- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatments
- Manage medication for inpatients
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff and other medical professionals
- Document all patient interactions and treatments in the Epic EMR system
- Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times
- Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina
- Required Board Certification: Psychiatry
- Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience with adult inpatient care is essential
