Sr Financial Systems Engineer
Legal Environment - Coupa & Elite 3E Focus
Hybrid 2-3 days/week in office/2-3 days remote

Summary
This is a Sr Financial Systems Engineer for a global law firm, that uses Elite 3E as their main financial system, but also recently implemented Coupa for P2P, SIM, Expenses, Treasury, Spend Guard and Pay.

This position will focus on both implementing new features into the financial system ecosystem with Elite 3E and Coupa, in addition to providing tier 3 support. For tier 3 support, this person will interface directly with the vendors (Elite and Coupa), and work with end users as necessary through resolution.

We are also looking for this person to drive financial system enhancements, and interface with business stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements for such enhancements. After the new features are built, this person will also own the configuration, testing and deployment.

We also use MetricStream and One Trust for Vendor Risk Management, which this person will also have responsibility to support these systems, but prior experience isn't required.

What you'll be doing
  • Apply high-level technical expertise and problem-solving skills to maintain and improve the Firm's Finance applications. Investigates operational or systematic problems and provides resolution using routine analytical skills and tools as necessary.
  • Testing, and deploying security application solutions using various cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Serve as the technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the applications in scope.
  • Implementing and enforcing risk policies and standards, security policies and standards, and best practices for cloud, hybrid on on-premises environments.
  • Strategically manage in-scope application lifecycles by overseeing their maintenance, monitoring, and performance, ensuring they meet business requirements
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and threats to cloud systems.
  • Developing new features and enhancements that meet changing security needs.
  • Managing and monitoring the Procurement and Finance applications.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud security.
  • Adhere to the Firm's Security and Governance requirements across all administered applications.
  • Collaborate with professionals at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop peers by providing mentorship and oversight to ensure high performance.
  • Utilize SQL query tools to perform frequent data analysis across various systems, providing clear and accurate data to business users.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to document and contribute to application roadmaps
  • Adhere to the Firm's IT Service Delivery standards and Change Control processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive troubleshooting and configuration documentation for administered systems.
  • Provide 24x7 operational support. On-call support responsibilities are rotated among the members of the Applications team.
Skills we're seeking
  • 5+ years of experience with Financial Systems Engineering/Analysis
  • Must have either Elite OR Coupa experience (experience with both would be even better)
  • Must have experience providing tier 3 support to financial systems
  • Must have experience driving financial system enhancements, through requirements gathering, builds with vendors, configuration, testing and deployment
  • SQL experience
Nice to haves
  • Elite 3E experience
  • Experience with the following Coupa modules: P2P, SIM, Expenses, Treasury, Spend Guard, Pay
  • Experience with MetricStream and/or One Trust for Vendor Risk Management
  • Experience working in an Azure environment
  • Experience with Mulesoft
  • Experience with application security
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, ideally in a Finance or IT related field
