Reverse Logistics Team Lead

Position Summary

The Reverse Logistics Team Lead oversees daily operations related to returned, damaged, or defective products. This role ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and efficient movement of reverse logistics items while maintaining compliance with company policies. The Team Lead provides hands-on support to the reverse logistics team, facilitates cross-department collaboration, and drives process improvements that support operational efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and mentor the reverse logistics team, ensuring adherence to established processes and performance standards.
  • Manage the flow of returned goods, including inspections, documentation, serial number capturing, and proper system entry.
  • Coordinate with Inventory, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of returns.
  • Audit returned items for quality, completeness, and compliance with company return policies.
  • Oversee daily truck check-ins for all inbound deliveries, including verifying all information in DispatchTrack, picture verification, check-in forms, and fulfillment reporting.
  • Ensure all driver paperwork and delivery documentation are properly captured, logged, and any discrepancies are communicated to Inventory and Shipping teams for accuracy.
  • Track and report KPIs such as return volumes, processing times, shrinkage, and recovery value.
  • Support process improvements to reduce errors, increase efficiency, and enhance accountability.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding return trends, systemic issues, and opportunities for operational savings.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards within the reverse logistics area.
  • Lead by example through consistent attendance, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in reverse logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Compensation & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week
