Weaver Consultants Group Denver office is seeking candidates for a Landfill Gas Technician in the Air Permitting/Compliance Group. This position will provide gas extraction, leachate collections and operations and maintenance services for the landfill industry.

Responsibilities
  • Landfill gas system operations and maintenance
  • Well field monitoring/tuning
  • Explosive gas monitoring
  • Surface emission monitoring
  • Liquid level monitoring
  • LFG flare monitoring/maintenance
  • Pulling/cleaning submersible pumps
  • LFG system troubleshooting
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintaintools and equipment
  • Understandmaterials, methods, and tools used on site
  • Understandbasic electrical safety requirements
  • WeldHDPE pipe and fittings
  • Extrusion welds HDPE liner materials
  • Understandhow to use on-site equipment
Qualifications
  • Construction or previous experience with landfill gas systems preferred
  • 25% overnight travel, Monday through Friday, with possible last-minute demand
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible schedule
