Required Skills:

Security Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Perform research to identify new ways of achieving your mission

  2. Work with vulnerability management, offensive security group, and other security programs to align remediation efforts and best protect the company from known threats

  3. Design, scope, and lead technical assessments on Meta products

  4. Manage the building of assurance automation, scoping, or other security work, and use this model to inform and drive our assessments

  5. Design, build and manage a team of security engineers focused on both the unique systems and technologies used at Meta

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  2. 5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years in recruiting, building and leading technical teams, including performance management

  3. Experience translating technical concepts into language that is understood to audiences including software engineers, business and technical leaders

  4. Experience performing security assurance activities (reviews, SAST/DAST, mitigations)

  5. Experience in managing a team conducting assurance activities

  6. Knowledge and understanding of attack surfaces for products

  7. Experience in at least one of PHP, Hack, Python, C, C++, or Java

  8. Experience leading and managing cross-functional programs

Public Compensation:

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
