Senior IT Auditor

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute IT audits, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting of findings
- Conduct walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls, automated controls, and business process controls under SOX compliance
- Identify control gaps and deficiencies, and monitor remediation efforts across various systems
- Develop and recommend strategies to improve the effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation
- Support internal initiatives such as training, operational reviews, and department-wide process improvements
- A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in internal audit or public accounting with a focus on IT systems
- Familiarity with IT control frameworks, system development lifecycle, and application-level controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for audit engagements and fieldwork
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, or finance
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams and presenting findings
- Experience with cybersecurity assessments, data protection, or PCI compliance
