Job Description

Join a family-owned company renowned for producing sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, free from the top 9 most common allergens in snack foods, and committed to using the highest quality ingredients. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in managing materials and shipments within our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials utilizing stand-up forklifts.

• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.

• Relocate items within the warehouse or factory using RF scanners.

• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items with precision.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials safely when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in forklift operation with 2+ years of experience in stand-up forklifts at the same company.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills and ability to pass a basic math test.

• Experience in material handling, inventory, picking, packing, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP experience preferred but not required.

• Experienced forklift operators with tenure at the same company are ideal.

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm in a climate-controlled and exceptionally clean facility that smells like potato chips. Follow GMP protocols, including wearing a hair net, beard net, smock, steel toes, and hard hat, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
