You Are:
You are a dynamic engineering professional who is passionate about solving complex challenges and enabling customer success. With a strong background in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, you have substantial experience in engineering software environments and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions. Your expertise with Ansys software or similar CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM tools is matched by your ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive projects to successful outcomes. You thrive on collaborating with customers, understanding their unique business objectives, and architecting solutions that transform their development workflows.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing proactive leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing all technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle, including technical discovery, product demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Collaborating closely with Sales to drive competitive technical solutions and ensure successful customer outcomes by leveraging your thought leadership and domain expertise.
- Engaging directly with customers to understand their business initiatives and product development needs, and tailoring Ansys solution strategies to exceed their goals.
- Leading project teams to develop, deploy, and scale differentiated simulation solutions using the Ansys platform within customer design workflows.
- Mentoring and supporting knowledge sharing programs within Ansys, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Partnering with product development teams to define product roadmaps, test new versions on real-world industrial problems, and develop best practices for application.
- Driving innovation by participating in company initiatives, contributing to technology and productivity improvements, and developing talent across the organization.
- Supporting field and digital marketing activities by developing promotional materials, participating in events, and delivering impactful conference presentations.
- Leading the delivery of professional services and providing expert consulting to customers to ensure their continued success with Ansys solutions.
- Accelerating customer product development through expert guidance and innovative simulation solutions.
- Enhancing Synopsys' industry reputation as a trusted advisor and technical leader in simulation and engineering software.
- Driving successful technical sales campaigns that contribute directly to business growth and revenue targets.
- Expanding the adoption of Ansys solutions across diverse industries by demonstrating measurable value to customers' key performance indicators.
- Enabling the development and deployment of reusable, scalable simulation workflows that transform customer engineering processes.
- Fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous improvement within the Synopsys engineering community.
- Contributing to the evolution of Ansys product offerings through feedback, testing, and collaboration with development teams.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field (BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 years minimum experience required).
- Demonstrated expertise with Ansys software or similar CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA).
- Strong understanding of engineering best practices, simulation technology, and product development workflows.
- Experience building and deploying simulation solutions within customer environments.
- Track record of delivering exceptional customer outcomes and driving business impact.
- Proficiency in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% (and up to 50% preferred) to support customer engagements.
- Preferred: knowledge of programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript, HTML), DevOps/CI/CD, and agile project management methodologies.
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Exceptional communicator, comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Logical problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
