Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a midnight shift assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring ARRT (CT), BLS, and 2 years of experience. Responsibilities Work in a hospital's radiology department specializing in computed tomography (CT) Level I Trauma Center environment Night shift schedule with variable hours between 6:00pm and 6:00am, including every other weekend Flexible shift options: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts possible No block scheduling or on-call required Patients may be adults and/or pediatric emergency cases typical of trauma centers Possible floating to a nearby sister hospital per operational needs Use of PACS and RIS systems for image management and documentation Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiology procedures as indicated Administer intravenous contrast and monitor for reactions, utilizing power injectors Collaborate with radiologists and assist with complex sterile procedures such as biopsies Responsible for restocking supplies, preparing procedure rooms, and setting up equipment Uphold radiation safety and ALARA principles at all times Maintain accurate documentation in both the medical record and radiology information systems Team-oriented environment with focus on customer service excellence and professional growth No blocked scheduling; any time off must be discussed prior to assignment or post-offer Requirements Current ARRT registration in Radiography and advanced registry in CT required or registry-eligible Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience High school diploma or GED required Physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move equipment or patients exceeding 10 lbs Completion of pre-employment online modules and passing scores required prior to start COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634793.
