Job Summary: GM Technicians Wanted Multiple Automotive Technicians are wanted & needed for our high-volume repair center. If you are not GM certified, we will train you We are looking for technicians who are skilled in high tech diagnostic & drivability repairs, transmission diagnostic, repair & replacement, diesel diagnostic & repair, suspension diagnostic & repair. Along with all other general maintenance & light repair work such as oil changes, tires, brakes, inspections. If you are motivated & want to make a career out of repairing & maintaining General Motors vehicles, this is the place for you Join our team including multiple 30-year tenure technicians today Compensation & Benefits: * This is a full-time, hourly position offering a competitive wage of $18 to $45 per hour, paid weekly. Competitive pay based on experience. * In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on purchases. * We also pay for your training, including ASE's. * Bonuses for becoming an ASE Master Technician * Bonuses from Denooyer Chevrolet & General Motors for attaining & maintainingWorld Class Technician Status. Earn up to $2500 per year & $1500 per quarter. * Yearly banquets to honor your achievements along with your spouse or significant other including dinner, overnight accommodations & rewards based on General Motor's Mark of Excellence Program. Responsibilities: * Perform general vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs * Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles * Utilize diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to accurately diagnose and repair issues * Perform efficient and accurate repairs according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines * Communicate with Service Advisors to update on repair progress and recommendations * Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations * Continuously learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities * Must be experienced, punctual & dependable * Must be able to lift heavy objects frequently. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or completed automotive training is a plus * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Technician * Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools * Knowledge of automotive systems and their functions * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and customer service skills * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time * Must have own tools Please apply or Contacts us at Denooyer Chevrolet to set up an interview with our managers & shop foreman.
