Travel Surgical Tech I - Nights - Albany, NY

Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: 12/15
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekends: 1 in 3
Holidays: Rotating
On Call: Possible

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience required

  • NBSTSA CST certification required at time of submission

  • Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgeries

  • Competent in all surgical instrumentation and sterile technique

  • Ability to assist in high-acuity surgical procedures independently

  • Familiarity with hospital protocols and perioperative care standards

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgeries

  • Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile field

  • Handle surgical instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently

  • Anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly during surgery

  • Participate in post-operative room turnover and instrument processing

  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to all infection control standards
