Are you a licensed clinician who thrives in leadership, values collaboration, and is driven by purpose? N Street Village, D.C.'s largest provider of housing and services for women experiencing homelessness, is seeking a compassionate and strategic Assistant Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services (ACD-BHS) to help lead our trauma-informed mental health and substance use programs.

What You'll Do

As ACD-BHS, you'll work closely with the Clinical Director to:
  • Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, case managers, and peer recovery specialists.
  • Lead trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for women with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Design and enhance programs focused on recovery, crisis stabilization, and long-term wellness.
  • Provide clinical oversight, maintain a small caseload, and support high-risk interventions.
  • Facilitate staff training, professional development, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate across departments and with external partners to deliver holistic care.
  • Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and data-informed program improvements.
What You Bring
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active DC licensure (LICSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of clinical supervision experience
  • Strong diagnostic, assessment, and trauma-informed care skills
  • Experience working with underserved populations and co-occurring disorders
  • A deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and client empowerment
