Insurance Sales Representative

We offer a starting base pay of $25/hour alongside an uncapped bonus plan. The average additional earnings can amount to approximately $2,000 per month, but with your dedication and drive, it could soar beyond $7,000 As we grow our business across multiple states, your variable compensation potential will increase.

In this role, you will work with warm leads to inform clients, provide quotes, and sell various insurance products. Showcase the benefits of our offerings while skillfully addressing any concerns clients may have regarding their purchase decisions.

Position Compensation Range:

$25.00 - $31.25

Pay Rate Type: Hourly

Note that compensation may differ based on job level and geographic location. We offer relocation support for eligible candidates.

Requirements:

• An active Property and Casualty Producers License or Personal Lines License with Georgia listed as your resident state is mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Quote and sell various insurance products, including automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance.
• Follow up on incomplete information to successfully close sales via phone or email.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and ongoing educational opportunities to maintain your active property casualty producer's license.
• Effectively demonstrate the advantages of our products while overcoming objections to purchase.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in managing an organized and updated pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Able to prioritize sales leads during quoting processes using multiple systems.
• Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverage to clients clearly.

This home-based position allows you to work approximately 80% of the time (at least 4 days a week) from the comfort of your home, near Atlanta, GA. You may occasionally be required to physically attend team meetings, training sessions, and engagement events at our office.

Training for new hires will commence on January 5, 2026, lasting around 2 months, with hours set from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM local time. No time off can be taken during this crucial training period.

After training, your shifts will generally be in the evenings, concluding at 9:00 PM local time from Monday to Friday, and 8:00 PM on Saturdays, with a rotation of one Saturday shift every three weeks. Most new hires will work a 9-hour shift on Monday, followed by a 7-hour shift later in the week.

Licensing:

• You must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines License, with Georgia as your resident state. American Family Insurance will cover the costs required to maintain your licenses after hiring, as well as all continuing education requirements.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work involving sitting/standing.
