About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 39-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Nov 7, 2025, and consists of weekend-only coverage with flexible AM and PM shifts, including the option for extended 15-hour shifts. The provider will act as the sole practitioner in a busy urgent care setting, making this an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in autonomous environments and have recent urgent care experience.

• Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
• Schedule: Weekend only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); AM shift 8am-4pm, PM shift 3pm-11pm, or 15-hour shift 8am-11pm; flexibility to work either shift required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care environment
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urgent care cases
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on efficiency and high clinical standards
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Adapt to variable shift lengths and weekend-only scheduling

Additional Information

• Must have at least 2 years of recent urgent care experience
• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced clinical setting
