Senior Outpatient Clinician needed for contract to hire role in Middletown, CT area. Will be working with outpatient addiction services on a Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM schedule. The clinician is responsible for providing oversight of outpatient clinicians in our Middletown clinic, including personnel management and supervision of clinical services.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a clinical field; License required (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
  • Experience working with individuals with psychiatric issues and co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Five years of clinical experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must maintain and provide proof of valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing
  • Reliable use of personal vehicle as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Providing clinical leadership, direction, and oversight of three outpatient clinic sites providing individual, group and IOP services to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral heath challenges
  • Ensuring program compliance with all contractual agreements and licensing regulations including but not limited to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), the Department of Public Health (DPH), CSSD (Judicial Branch), and CARF requirements
  • Overseeing the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of supervisees
  • Organizing and running weekly outpatient clinical meeting and hybrid meeting while documenting minutes of the meetings
  • Ensuring timely completion of required documentation, both by clinical staff and to contractual or regulatory oversight bodies such as CSSD and DMHAS
  • Maintaining an individual case load, providing intakes and assessment as needed, and running groups when needed
  • Consulting with the program staff, Medical Director, and prescribing professionals regarding coordination of care, risk management, and any medical and mental health needs
