Business Summary:

The Insurance Coordination Specialist supports the administration of all insurance services for Clubs and AAA, Inc., to include renewals, claims coordination, policy documentation, compliance reviews, and overall program support. This role collaborates across departments to manage underwriting data, assist with emergency preparedness initiatives, and ensure accurate financial transactions with brokers and vendors. The Specialist also provides administrative support to the insurance team, maintains insurance records, assists with all contract reviews, and supports litigation-related research.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Monitors the accuracy of financial dealings with brokers, insurance companies, and vendors, including payment for premiums, fees, and credits for both AAA, Inc. and AAA Club insurance programs.
  • Supports the Director, Insurance Management analyst, in developing emergency management practices, including active assailant, inclement weather, and fire drills.
  • Assists AAA, Inc. with contract assessments using the appropriate contract management system.
  • Prepares Insurance department administrative documents, including annual goals, budget, strategic plans, and program development.
  • Serves as the Insurance Management liaison for business continuity planning.
  • Conducts Motor Vehicle/Safe Driving and workers' compensation insurance program administration.
  • Maintains records of insurance policies, claims, and archives, and manages the group site on internal resources.
  • Supports the Legal department by conducting research and gathering discovery documents and information in litigated matters.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with experience compiling and summarizing research.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, very adept with PowerPoint and presentations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including professional correspondence and proofreading.
  • Strong time management, organization, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and adaptable, must demonstrate professional research and writing abilities.
Education & Experience:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field, and three (3) or more years' experience in managing multi-task projects in a professional office environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) years' Commercial Insurance administration experience or compliance-related experience preferred.

Hiring Range: $ 24.50 - $29.88

This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
