Job Title - Epic Resolute Application Specialist
Department - IT Exempt
Reports to - Health Systems Applications Manager

- Travel: As Needed
- Configure and maintain billing and claims workflows in Epic Resolute,
- including charge routers, claim edits, and payment posting rules.
- Build and test charge capture, charge review, and claim edit work queues.
- to ensure clean claim submission and accurate payment posting.
- Maintain and optimize payer configuration, remittance setup, and denial.
- management workflows to support efficient revenue cycle operations.
- Partner with the Epic Cadence & MyChart Specialist to align scheduling, registration, and billing configuration for seamless front-to-back.
- workflow integration.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for patient access workflows
- and MyChart support processes, focusing on Epic build and training.
- Provide guidance and build expertise to support workflow redesign
- efforts, but leave ongoing operational monitoring and maintenance to the
- respective department leads.
- Partner with operational leaders to analyze existing scheduling and
- patient access workflows, surface bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and
- recommend system-based solutions or optimizations.
- Other task as needed.
Qualifications -
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, health information management, healthcare administration, or related field, preferred.
Required: 2-5 years of experience working with Epic Resolute Billing or other EHR billing modules, including charge capture, claims processing, payment posting, and denial management.
Preferred: Experience in at least one full Epic implementation lifecycle.
Experience leading or mentoring others.
Experience in a CHC, FQHC, or value-based care environment.
Current/valid License: Epic Professional Billing and/or Hospital Billing certification required within 9 months of hire if not already obtained; Cross training in modules is required.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment
Pay Range - $66,489 - $89,355
