Your role is crucial to our success. We seek a committed Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in our Float Pool to join our team and make a positive impact on patient lives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform direct and indirect patient care, assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures, and managing hemodynamic monitoring.
• Scrub for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor and document procedures in the hemodynamic system.
• Educate patients and their families about the technical aspects of procedures.
• Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory, focusing on cost efficiency and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Preferred: Two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab.

Education:

• Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technologist program or a radiology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, or a military training program equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications:

• If Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS): must obtain within 6 months; or if Radiologic Technologist: must be certified through the Texas Medical Board and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) upon hire.
• BLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy.
• ACLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy.
