As a General Service Technician, you will carry out essential non-technical services such as oil changes, tire maintenance, alignments, and various fluid flushes. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with ASE Certified Automotive Technicians who will provide you with invaluable training for advancing your career. This is your chance to lay the foundation for a successful future in the automotive field.

Pay: Up to $15 - $17/HR, depending on experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using a company vehicle.
  • Pick up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors or the corporate office with the company vehicle.
  • Drive the company vehicle responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Conduct state safety and emission inspections ethically, following all company and state guidelines.
  • Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation.
  • Execute oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
  • While completing basic services, assess the general condition of vehicles and highlight any obvious repairs or safety issues to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager, utilizing the company’s multi-point inspection or repair order.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to uphold a tidy and welcoming environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability for a minimum of five days a week, including Saturdays.
