Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in all stages of labor and delivery
  • Care for mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process
  • Compliance with documentation and facility policies required
  • Professional references and skill checklists must be provided as part of the application process
Requirements
  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications required and must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
