Clark Hill PLC seeks an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in its Reno Office. A minimum of three (3) years of experience and the ability to work in a team environment is required. Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced legal practice is preferred. This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as to assigned attorneys, and is responsible for, among other activities, (i) providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support/clerical needs of assigned attorneys; (ii) preparing letters, memos, and other documentation, as required; (iii) entering client information into the system to run conflict checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters; (iv) preparing and filing pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed; (v) making travel arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement documentation; (vi) answering the phones of assigned attorneys; and (vii) entering attorney time. While this position assists attorneys in the Reno office, the success candidate must be willing and able to help attorneys, legal assistants, and others in other offices, if needed.

The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365 and will have an excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills. Candidates must be able to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload and thus must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time with exceptional organizational skills. A team player, the LAA must be able to absorb information quickly and adapt to change. Sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and other is a must. Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus.

The salary range at the time of posting is $31.25 - $38.50 hourly/$65,000 - $80,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, paid time off, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
