Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced experienced Assembly Technicians s for our client in the Greensboro area. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of recent experience as a mechanical technician, assembly technician, and/or fabricator. This positions works 6:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Job Requirements:

Job Duties
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
  • Installs and repairs components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lay out, assemble, install and maintains operational systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Install, program or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
  • Understand production processes and operation of machinery for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Assemble machinery according to blueprints and manuals.
  • Fabricating parts for equipment projects as necessary (i.e. drill castings).
  • Inspecting parts for accuracy and quality.
  • Filing/grinding/deburring, measuring parts to ensure proper fit.
  • Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to Read and understand mechanical drawings, disassembly, reassembly machines & conveyors.
  • 2 or more years of recent experience as an Assembly/Production Technician or Fabricator.
  • Experience working with conveyors is a plus.
  • Flexible to work hours as required
