You must be able to commute to Playa Vista, CA or Hoboken, NJ.

Note for Hoboken-based candidates: Potential travel to Los Angeles (LA) will be required.

As the Art Director, Social Media, reporting to the Associate Creative Director (Art), you will play a vital role in concepting, designing, and producing eye-catching social content that embodies the company's style across fashion, beauty, and home. You will closely collaborate with writers, designers, content creators, and producers to craft modern and aspirational visual narratives that resonate with audiences on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for visual storytelling within social and digital contexts, a deep passion for culture and trends, and substantial experience in fashion, home, or beauty content creation. You will be both a hands-on creator and a collaborative team player.

Requirements:

Top-Notch Creative Skills

• Develop social-first concepts and visual narratives that position the company as a Style destination and authentically connect with fashion, beauty, and home audiences.
• Collaborate in content development, design, and execution for social media, campaign assets, and influencer/editorial projects.
• Assist the Associate Creative Director and Creative Director in creating moodboards, pre-production decks, storyboards, and materials for shoots.
• Be proficient in shooting content on an iPhone.
• Engage in on-set art direction to ensure that creative output is modern, relevant, and brand-true.
• Work alongside designers, editors, and motion artists to deliver cohesive and effective executions.
• Demonstrate curiosity and initiative by actively contributing ideas and advancing creative discussions.
• Stay attuned to cultural, design, and social trends that can inspire innovative creative thinking.

Consistent Branding

• Champion the visual identity of Style on social media, ensuring all content is inspiring, polished, and unmistakably aligned with the company’s image.
• Translate campaign ideas and seasonal styles into platform-native content.
• Guarantee that designs and creative executions align with the company’s brand identity and social voice.

Operational Efficiency

• Manage diverse workstreams efficiently in a high-paced social environment, maintaining top quality while adhering to deadlines.
• Collaborate with Creative Account Management and Production teams to keep timelines sharp and projects well-organized.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in art direction, design, or content creation related to fashion, beauty, or home.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing social-first creativity and visual storytelling.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with social platforms, cultural trends, and influencer content.
• Experience working with photographers, stylists, and content creators.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Portfolios and social media feeds should showcase experience with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle content.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72.00 to $74.00. Compensation is determined by multiple factors, including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
