With more than 12,000 products-many only available on FreshDirect-we bring both everyday groceries and rare produce directly to New Yorkers' homes. Our team of 3,000 people works out of a 60,000 m² fulfillment center only minutes from Manhattan. FreshDirect is more than a delivery service-it's part of daily life in the city.

Now, we're growing our team in Istanbul to improve the experience even further-through our website, mobile apps, and the systems behind logistics, personalization, and AI. Whether you're launching a new feature or improving performance, your work will directly impact how New Yorkers buy their food.

Expected Experience: 5+ years of React Native Development
Essential Functions:
- Hands-on code contribution and delivery
- Working with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and user stories, then translating that into an effective technical approach
- Developing and testing your mobile application code, leveraging a sprint based, Agile methodology
- Familiarity with APIs and integrate mobile applications with existing backend services
- Working closely with QA members on the team to ensure the code you develop meets acceptance criteria, including doing rework where necessary
- Coordinate and work closely with other distributed teams across multiple time zones, to execute solutions
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and having the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology and products
- Proven track record of designing and developing visually appealing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android devices using React Native
- Excellent JavaScript skills with an in-depth knowledge of React Native IDEs, React Native tools, React Native UI components and React Native testing tools
- Experience in collaborating effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes
- Exposure to the process of App releases on AppStore and Google Play Store
- Exposure to App performance monitoring & optimization
- Knowledge of NextJs, Graphql and Expo is a plus
