About the job Mine Maintenance Supervisor
THE ROLE
The Work. Agency have partnered with a US based metals producer to find a Maintenance Supervisor for their team. The role will take the responsibility for directly supervising all mine maintenance across the site, including underground and surface operations. The team have developed a reputation for excellent safety on site and are looking for a leader who can continue to develop and exemplify a strict safety culture. You will also be given the opportunity to work on several continuous improvement projects that will have you managing both capital and operating expenditure.

Based in the US, this company prides itself on developing a culture right across their business that gives employees the opportunity to challenge processes and suggest improvements. The team are highly motivated and are well incentivized through KPIs. The company has enjoyed considerable growth over the past few years and is looking to continue expanding their operating footprint across North America.
THE PERSON
Managing a team of maintenance professionals, the successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and mentorship, with ideally over 10 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with engineering or technical certificate backgrounds, who can demonstrate a history of success in building high performing teams.
THE HIRE
This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to step up into to a full-time leadership role. There is the potential for this role to continue to grow within the leadership team and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
