Job Description

Join our dynamic fabrication team where you will play a key role in creating structural beams and joints for construction projects. As a Welder, you will be expected to MIG weld steel beams ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick, utilizing prints and weld symbols. This is an in-shop role where you will work with extremely large beams and operate an overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on large steel beams using blueprints and weld symbols.

• Operate overhead cranes to maneuver large beams within the shop.

• Engage in metal finishing and operate fabrication equipment.

• Utilize forklift for material handling as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

• Proficiency in structural welding, fabrication, and using flux core techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience welding in the construction industry, particularly with large beams or bins for agriculture.

Work Environment

This is a first shift position typically running from 6am-4pm, Monday through Thursday, with additional hours on Fridays during the summer. Work in a fabrication shop focused on safety, handling very large and thick beams with the use of overhead cranes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Black Creek, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.50/hr.
