Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery will provide care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care throughout the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Be an integral part of the birthing process, assisting in multiple deliveries.
• Support families and provide education on postpartum care.
• Ensure adherence to Baby Friendly guidelines.
• Assist with care for NAS babies and other necessary nursing tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP (preferred), STABLE (preferred).
• Ability to float between units as required.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3-4 during days, and 1:same during nights and weekends.
