Introduction

Join our team as a Tax Reporting Senior Analyst, where you'll utilize your expertise in tax reporting requirements within a core banking environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with IRS State Regulations related to US tax withholding, reporting, and filing obligations. You will interact with business users, oversee core banking functions, and lead initiatives to improve operational efficiencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • Extensive experience in tax reporting, including 1098, 1099, 1042-S, and FATCA filings
  • Familiarity with core banking and FIS applications
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and research tax reporting requirements, regulations, and processes
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in leading tax compliance initiatives
  • Knowledge of current trends and technologies in the core banking domain
  • Experience in process automation to enhance operational efficiencies
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight to the tax reporting core banking functions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in enterprise tax compliance
  • Ensure business partners are engaged with Core Banking Technology
  • Facilitate sessions with business units to establish tax workflows
  • Lead efforts to clean up customer profile data
  • Review processes to increase operational efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC regulations
  • Update core system data control cards and files for year-end processing
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
