Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Journeyman in Las Vegas Metro Area, NV to lead complex service and installation projects while mentoring junior technicians.

Impact

• Lead service teams that maintain HVAC systems for major commercial facilities

• Ensure quality workmanship that extends equipment life and reduces callbacks

• Mentor junior technicians to build skilled workforce and improve safety performance

• Drive customer satisfaction through expert technical knowledge and problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance projects

• Supervise and mentor apprentice and junior technicians on job sites

• Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical and electrical system issues

• Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards

• Coordinate with project managers and customers on service delivery

• Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate service documentation

• Respond to emergency service calls and lead critical system restorations

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Requirements
Must-Haves

• 7+ years experience as a commercial HVAC technician with journeyman status

• EPA Universal certification and state HVAC contractor license

• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior technicians

• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex HVAC systems

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Nice-to-Haves

• Trade school certification or apprenticeship program completion

• Manufacturer certifications from major HVAC equipment suppliers

• OSHA 30 safety training and leadership experience

• Previous supervisory experience in commercial construction
