Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - North Carolina, Near Myrtle Beach

Outpatient-only Hematology and Oncology assignment in North Carolina with full-time and part-time options near Myrtle Beach.

Highlights

  • Choose week-on/off, part-time blocks, or 2 days per week ongoing
  • Minimal after-hours; texts from APPs only
  • Dedicated cancer center; same-day diagnostics

Practice Setting

  • 35,000 sq. ft. standalone cancer center
  • 18 exam rooms, 16 infusion chairs
  • On-site PET scan, lab, and pharmacy
  • Staff includes 2 MDs, 3 APPs, and radiation oncologist
  • Diagnostics not delayed by ED/OR

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with 1 hour admin
  • Flexible: full-time, recurring part-time, or 2-week blocks
  • Summer assignments and short-term coverage still available

Cases and Procedures

  • Full-scope Hematology and Oncology
  • Slightly higher hematology volume
  • No procedures required

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
  • Active North Carolina license
  • BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

  • Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Within driving distance of North Carolina's coastal cities
