Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and an active license for a day shift travel assignment.
Responsibilities
• Position is based in an acute care setting
• Day shift hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm, 4x10s per week
• Weekend availability is expected, with travelers typically working about half of the weekends
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR for all documentation
• Responsibilities include delivering acute care physical therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Orientation includes 24 hours of training
• No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Travelers should be prepared to work assigned weekends and be flexible with scheduling
• Permanent employees may only apply if separated for at least one year
• Active certifications must be available at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year in an acute care setting
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from within the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire
• No local candidates; candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius
