Position Summary
The Marketing Content Specialist is a key player in developing, executing, and overseeing impactful marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role requires a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to enhance user experiences while collaborating closely with marketing and business stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to create compelling copy that drives business growth, fosters client retention, and achieves specific outcomes across various digital platforms such as web, email, video, and social media channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Transform strategic initiatives and industry insights into actionable content solutions.
- Identify and analyze business needs to craft clear, effective messaging.
- Oversee the entire content development process, including project planning and version creation tailored to branding and logic.
- Act as a marketing representative in important meetings to provide updates, offer consultation, and suggest innovative solutions.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders by consistently delivering on project expectations.
- Develop engaging and actionable content using AI tools to convert leads into clients and nurture client loyalty.
- Proficient in copywriting across diverse marketing mediums, including web, email, print, video scripting, presentations, articles, white papers, and more.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite—Word, PowerPoint, and Excel—along with project management and CMS tools for efficient workflow management and planning.
- Follow quality control best practices for proofreading, reviews, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Evaluate communication effectiveness through methods such as A/B testing.
- Safeguard all confidential data handled by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of sensitive information.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
- Skilled in professional communication across digital, social, and print mediums, with a focus on SEO strategies.
- Experience with AI copywriting tools is essential.
- Strong decision-making, communication, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and fulfill responsibilities accurately.
- A proactive team player, capable of thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 5 years in relevant experience, with a portfolio showcasing samples of work.
- A four-year degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A comprehension of regulated industries; prior financial services experience is advantageous.
For virtual remote roles, a quiet and uninterrupted workspace is essential, along with family care arrangements during business hours. Additionally, an internet speed of 25 Mbps or faster is required for individual use. If multiple devices are on the same connection, a stronger connection is necessary. Ensure compliance with these requirements before applying.
The salary range for this position is approximately $70,000 to $80,000 annually, not including bonuses and benefits. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors such as experience, performance, and internal alignment. Benefits may include 401(k) matching, medical, dental, vision coverage, and paid time off.
