Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Epic experience and advanced neuro and peripheral intervention skills.

Responsibilities
  • Position is in the inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology department
  • Work schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one rotating day off
  • Call is required, including one primary call per week and one call weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time
  • Possible weekend coverage may be required
  • Required to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
  • Department includes 4 angiography suites (two single-plane, two biplane), a dedicated CT scanner, and a multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
  • Uses advanced imaging technologies and Epic EMR
  • Duties include providing nursing care for minimally invasive vascular, neuro, and oncologic procedures
  • Work alongside an advanced IR team in a Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Role may cover both inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology cases
  • Required to submit a copy of driver’s license and SSN for consideration
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position
Requirements
  • Active VA or Compact RN license required (pending acceptable from non-compact states only)
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Experience in both neuro and peripheral endovascular interventions required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must provide two professional references
