Job Description:
  • The B2B Developer (Technical Lead) will lead software engineering teams in designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise applications and integrations.
  • This role involves overseeing full lifecycle development, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, ensuring adherence to DevSecOps and architectural standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The position also includes working on B2B integrations, system interfaces, and production support for digital and eService programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead software engineering teams in the design, development, and implementation of multiple enterprise applications.
  • Perform detailed technical design, coding, code reviews, and testing of new and existing applications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and ensure compliance with hardware and software standards.
  • Identify requirements gaps and lead risk and impact assessments for projects and programs.
  • Develop strategies to improve performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
  • Provide technical recommendations for integrating new technologies and improving system performance.
  • Support project managers as the technical lead, including cost estimation and client consultation.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, product roadmaps, and scoping sessions.
  • Develop and maintain integration maps and business processes for EDI, XML, SAP IDOCs, and database interfaces.
  • Configure trading partners and set up AS2 communication, mailboxes, and SAP partner profiles.
  • Lead development of business processes using Graphical Process Modeler (GPM) and BPML.
  • Ensure compliance with DevSecOps practices, maintain deployment standards, and drive automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce software development best practices.
  • Provide operational support, maintenance programming, and production troubleshooting.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 8-11 years of experience in leading B2B development, production support, and infrastructure teams.
  • Experience mapping EDI to flat files, SQL, XML, and SAP IDOCs using GIS Map Editor, Visual Mapper, and Application Integrator.
  • Strong experience with Gentran Integration Suite, including mailbox and trading partner setup.
  • Experience designing and developing business processes and integration flows for XML and EDI communications.
  • Proficiency in UNIX environments and shell scripting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and JEE technologies.
  • Experience with open-source frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
  • Experience developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like jQuery and AJAX.
  • Experience working with healthcare systems or HIPAA X12 transactions (837, 834, 270, 276).
  • Experience with ITXA/WTX Eclipse-based EDI mapping and business process design (SI/SFG).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, self-starter, and effective team player.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience in performance tuning and scalable system design.
  • Experience extending open-source libraries and frameworks to meet enterprise needs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
