Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Rapid City, SD Type: Contract (Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist in South Dakota to provide coverage for PTO at a local pharmacy. The schedule is flexible, and coverage can range from a single day to several days depending on availability. Prior to covering shifts, the selected candidate will shadow the onsite pharmacist for one day.

Responsibilities
  • Verify and check prescriptions for accuracy
  • Ensure prescriptions are processed correctly
  • Provide patient-centered care and support
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technician to maintain workflow
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
Qualifications

Required:
  • PharmD or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in South Dakota
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
  • Patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
Additional Details
  • Team: 1 Pharmacist + 1 Pharmacy Technician
  • No overtime or weekend work required
  • Interview Process: Virtual interview (phone or video)
  • Contract role specifically for PTO coverage
