Title: Network Engineer (C++ /Python)
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $45- $50/hour
Tax Terms: W2 only
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Solid experience in C++ for network software development in a distributed system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and API interaction.
• Knowledge of data centre networking concepts, including VXLAN, overlay/underlay networks, and Cisco Nexus switches or a similar environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and programming.

Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
• Experience with policy models, endpoint groups, contracts, filters, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with API interaction with network controllers (such as Cisco APIC) is desirable.
• Experience collaborating closely with QA, product, and support teams to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions.
• Working experience with Nutanix/VMware-based virtualization platforms.
