Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the build of all training systems produced by the HFS team, ensuring systems delivered to Fleet sites, as well as Engineering Development Models (EDMs) at our Maryland sites, are physically maintained and ready for use.
- Supervise a team of technicians responsible for the build-out, ensuring balanced travel assignments while participating in installations to gain fluency in the installation processes.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and Technical Project Managers to schedule installations, providing advice on technical feasibility, risks, and proposing improved workflows.
- Become the subject matter expert for new training capabilities and systems.
- Work closely with inventory management and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel to ensure the availability of materials and documentation for installations.
- Schedule technician team activities, including inventory control, EDM maintenance, and pre-install preparation.
Required Education:
- BS degree or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government granted security clearance (Interim Secret security clearance required to begin employment).
- 8+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating the skills necessary for this role, including:
- U.S. Navy Trainer Program experience
- Training system build-out and EDM maintenance
- Supervising and scheduling technician teams
- Planning and executing installations with risk assessments
- Collaborating with program and project managers
- Implementing process improvements
- New system builds and capability development
- Coordinating with inventory and ILS teams - Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and proficiency in desktop computing applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Desired Experience:
- Experience with audio systems, CAD, 3D printing, and secure IT system maintenance.
- Background as a Navy ET, ST, or FT with knowledge of facility power and data center requirements.
- Familiarity with Linux, Atlassian Products, AutoCAD or other CAD software.

Pay Range: $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
