Part-time Bilingual Patient Service Coordinator
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

We are looking for a Bilingual Patient Service Coordinator to enhance our team's mission and assist in delivering exceptional dental care to the community. Play a key role in creating smiles and positive experiences while being part of a caring, collaborative team.
Your impact includes:
- Engaging with your community by participating in local events, including school screenings and presentations to promote our services.
- Joining morning huddles to recognize your colleagues and share positive experiences focused on customer service and collaboration.
- Working with children, as they represent over 70% of our patient base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and parents during check-in and check-out.
- Provide compassionate support to every patient.
- Greet all patients and parents warmly when they arrive and thank them when they leave.
- Keep parents informed about the status of their child's appointment.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area and front desk.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointments and ensure accurate records in the patient's file.
- Communicate service limits with the clinical team before treatment.
- Prepare patient files in advance of appointments.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to facilitate same-day care for patients.
- Help meet office financial goals by ensuring a full hygiene and operative schedule.
- Schedule follow-up and six-month recall appointments.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, taking messages as needed.
- Follow up with patients on appointments and any needed treatments through outbound calls.
- Reorganize patient records at the end of the day to maintain orderly files.
- Adhere to all regulations and company policies with integrity.
- Communicate and collect any out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatments.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Experience in children's dentistry is an advantage.
