San Antonio, TX, United States SpinXpress Full time
Description

SpinXpress is one of the fastest-growing laundromat operators, with modern, high-volume locations serving thousands of customers every week. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean, and reliable environment. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to oversee facility upkeep across multiple regions in Texas.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for addressing facility issues as they are reported through our ticketing system by store employees and District Managers. This is a travel-based role, and the technician must be organized and proactive in prioritizing trips based on workload and urgency.

This position does not involve direct washer/dryer repairs. Instead, the technician ensures that supporting systems and the facility itself remain in excellent condition while coordinating contractors for larger or specialized repairs.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $40,000 annually
  • Performance Incentives: Up to $5,000 annually
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Phone allowance provided
  • Company credit card for travel expenses
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits available
  • Growth opportunities with a rapidly expanding company
Schedule:
  • Full-time, travel required across Texas regions
  • Typically Monday-Friday, with occasional emergency or weekend calls

If you are a motivated technician with strong problem-solving skills and enjoy hands-on work while traveling across Texas, apply today to join the SpinXpress team

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District Managers
• Plan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workload
• Handle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.)
• Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement and other cosmetic facility repairs
• Troubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractors
• Keep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing system
• Communicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issues
• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets company standards

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or related trade strongly preferred
• Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building repair required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage travel, and prioritize multiple service requests
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
• Must provide and maintain a basic tool set (company will purchase specialty tools as needed, subject to approval)
