Position: Ford Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Location: Basil Ford Niagara Falls- 6980 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 OR Basil Ford Walden- 1540 Walden Ave. Cheektowaga, NY 14225
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation: Between $80,000 and $160,000 Annually plus up to a $10,000 sign on bonus for qualified technicians.
Schedule: Full Time
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Duties:
- Perform in depth diagnostics using Ford factory tools
- Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, electrical, and advanced driver-assistance systems
- Work on Ford commercial vehicles like Transit, Super Duty, E-Series, F-Series
- Service high-mileage heavy duty vehicles used in fleet operations
- Handle upfitted vehicles with special equipment
- Maintain uptime and quick turnaround for customers
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, brake checks
- Ensure vehicles meet DOT requirement
- Utilize factory tools and service information resources
- Perform software updates and calibrations
- Ford STS or pro level certification
- Pro Elite Status
- ASE certifications
- 3-5 years working on Ford vehicles
- Experience in diesel and gas engine repairs, especially on commercial vehicles
- Advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diesel engines, hybrid systems and commercial chassis
- Proficiency in using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Willingness to continue ongoing Ford training
Must have valid NYS Inspectors License
Valid Driver's License required for all positions
