Senior Financial Analyst, Oracle Cloud Competitive Analysis

Join Oracle's Competitive Analysis team as a Senior Financial Analyst focusing on the dynamic cloud computing industry. In this role, you will leverage your expertise and analytical skills to drive Oracle's go-to-market strategies and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive competitive analysis on cloud computing providers, focusing on market positioning, product offerings, pricing strategies, P&L analysis, and benchmarking against Oracle.
- Investigate industry trends and emerging technologies to uncover opportunities, threats, and Oracle Cloud differentiators.
- Create and present strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Maintain and enhance our competitive intelligence knowledge base by synthesizing findings into clear reports and briefs.
- Collaborate across teams to assess business implications and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
- Stay updated on news, analyst reports, customer feedback, and relevant data to monitor developments in the cloud marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in market analysis, strategy, or related roles within the technology or cloud computing industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing business models, products, and key industry players (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proven ability to analyze SEC filings and financial disclosures to extract meaningful insights grounded in sound accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of articulating complex ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive-level stakeholders.
- A demonstrated track record of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:
The hiring range for this position is from $87,000 to $178,100 annually, with eligibility for bonus and equity. Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
