Position Description

We are excited to announce that we are hiring an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our Truck Fleet team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $26.00
  • Certification Bonus: $100 for each New ASE Certification up to $700
  • Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500, four times a year
  • Sign On Bonus: $1250 at 30 days and another $1250 at 90 days
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Weekends Off
  • Hours: Second Shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

This position has specific requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Technical Certifications are preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Experience with mechanical repair of gas and diesel engines, including preventative maintenance
  • Two years of classroom training and work experience preferred
  • A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A is preferred, but must obtain it within 6 months of hire
  • Must pass drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Conducting standard and preventive vehicle maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electronic issues
  • Identifying root causes of failures and performing necessary repairs
  • Interacting with customers and drivers to understand complaints
  • Utilizing Shop Management System for documentation
  • Complying with safety and corporate guidelines
