Role Overview

The Lead Software Quality Assurance Specialist is the driving force behind our quality assurance team, ensuring that both products and services meet the highest quality standards. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans while enjoying the collaborative atmosphere that thrives on problem-solving and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor a team while collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to establish and promote best practices.
  • Develop and enforce quality standards, audit functionalities, and create frameworks that monitor success measures with detailed reporting.
  • Pinpoint areas for business enhancement and formulate actionable plans to support effective solutions for our customers and the business.
  • Act as a liaison, providing valuable advice and communication to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops and consultations to foster communication and standardization in achieving business objectives.
  • Work alongside quality control, development, and business teams to execute thorough testing processes.
  • Engage in the full software development life cycle.
  • Review and verify business requirements for accuracy.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level quality control engineers, guiding them through policies and procedures while assigning them tasks.
  • Identify root causes for quality issues and coordinate necessary corrective actions.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Design innovative automated test strategies and frameworks, and implement automation aligned with software testing needs.
  • Develop, sustain, and enhance our test automation framework and infrastructure.
  • Execute planned tests, manage defect reporting, and oversee regression testing for existing and new products.
  • Assist development teams in replicating and debugging issues, creating new test automation solutions as necessary.
  • Exhibit leadership, innovation, and mentoring capabilities, while demonstrating strong technical and programming skills in test automation.
  • Assist with performance evaluations when required.
