Status: Full time
Hourly Pay: $18 - $23

Position Summary:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to reestablish work life balance. You will be responsible for overall general maintenance at multiple facilities in the Syracuse area, including basic plumbing and electrical work and a willingness to learn petroleum maintenance like gas pumps and bulk plants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include and are not limited to:

Learn to troubleshoot and repair all petroleum related issues and willingness to expand knowledge in this field.

Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
-
Ensures a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations set forth by the company.

Attend and participate in all work related meetings, scheduled inventories and training classes. Willing to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by manufacturers and local/state/federal law.

Occasional climbing and working on a ladder.

Ability to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.
RESPONSIBILITIES include and are not limited to:
-
Basic knowledge of general maintenance and willing to grow into the petroleum field.

Performs regular inspections of all assigned store and reports the condition of equipment and property, as well as maintenance status.

Assists when necessary in the installation of equipment resulting from special projects or supporting other technicians in regions outside of their own.

Performs preventative maintenance service, emergency repair and cosmetic repair on store equipment and property.
-
Respond to issues at the store which affect overall operation of equipment or the facility
-
Work individually as well as in a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment at store locations
-
Work as a team to assist with special projects such as remodels, new store openings or acquisitions
-
Occasionally troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R and all food/beverage equipment at all Mirabito Store locations.

Operate of a company assigned vehicle in safe and responsible manner
-
Communicate issues and provide feedback to the Facility Support Manager regarding maintenance issues, facility/equipment opportunities and outside service vendor performance.

Utilize maintenance work order system to complete repair calls, close completed calls, enter resolutions for calls and update calls according to company policies and procedures. Complete assigned work by required deadline.

Respond to high priority calls according to company guidelines.

Performs other related duties as requested for store openings or special events.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS include and are not limited to:

High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Valid Driver's license.

Pump tank experience a plus or willing to be trained.

Basic construction skills-changing tiles, lights, painting.

Entry level electrical skills-able to use meters, trace wires and plumbing.
