As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing shifts while leading a dynamic team. Your proficiency in Brewista responsibilities is essential, enabling you to step in wherever necessary. You will provide support, encouragement, and constructive feedback to your team, ensuring our high standards of service and product quality are upheld even in the absence of management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Master all Brewista duties and skill sets to maintain operational excellence.
  • Assess daily business needs and lead your team in directing flow effectively.
  • Become an expert in recipes, secret menu offerings, and daily operations.
  • Identify and mitigate flow bottlenecks while managing your position.
  • Consistently exceed expectations in your performance.
  • Prioritize the needs of the company and the team, treating everyone equitably.
  • Teach and complete all weekly chores, checklists, and shift change tasks.
  • Strategically deploy crew members to maximize their growth and minimize wait times.
  • Encourage team productivity through effective delegation and reminders.
  • Take full ownership of shift operations, including drink quality, customer interaction, and team atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash tips and drawer balances.
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with management regarding critical issues.
  • Support management in the training and development of new team members.
  • Utilize TouchPoint and relevant hardware proficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional ability to create and foster uplifting customer interactions.
  • Comfortable working with hot beverages, glass bottles, and dairy products.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat as necessary.
  • Skilled in safely navigating a busy drive-thru environment.
  • Proficient in using utility knives with care.
  • Capable of operating efficiently in all stand positions during busy times.
  • Maintain situational awareness of shift operations while performing under pressure.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues assertively and graciously.
  • Adapt swiftly to challenges and implement effective solutions during busy shifts.
