We are currently seeking a dedicated HVAC Solutions Specialist who will play a vital role in supporting our contractors and engineers. Your expertise will guide product information, system layout recommendations, and quotes for a variety of HVAC systems, including unitary, mini-split, hydronic, and commercial applications.
The ideal candidate will flourish in our fast-paced environment, showcasing strong leadership abilities, sound decision-making skills, and technical knowledge to effectively meet customer needs. Key qualifications include:
- In-depth understanding of HVAC design and application principles
- Experience in project management and engineering acumen
- Foundational business management skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with the sales teams, both inside and outside
- Acting as a subject matter expert on product sales and application opportunities
- Collaborating with sales teams to provide accurate pricing and application solutions
- Preparing competitive quotes based on mechanical drawings, specifications, and site visits
- Tracking job quotes, close ratios, and gathering competitive intelligence
You will also:
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitive brands and our offerings
- Provide compelling product-supported solutions to stand out in the market
- Conduct on-site product training for our personnel
- Deliver exceptional customer service that maximizes sales and profitability
- Promote strong customer relationships through integrity and professionalism
- Resolve customer complaints as needed and maintain confidentiality
The qualifications you need include:
- Technical expertise in the HVAC field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong follow-up abilities and a team-oriented mindset
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
If you have a high school diploma (or GED) and at least 5 years of related experience (including 2 years of project bidding experience and familiarity with Plan and Spec work), we encourage you to apply
