As a Master/Certified Volkswagen Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles. You will use your expertise to perform vehicle adjustments, calibrations, and repairs, ensuring all work meets Kendall and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and identify vehicle issues.
- Perform adjustments, calibrations, and replenishing fluids.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
- Repair or replace parts, using independent judgment when necessary.
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and resolve any remaining issues.
- Document work completed and track time per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
- Work is performed indoors in a clean and safe shop.
- Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools, which may produce significant vibration and force.
- Standing and walking will be required throughout the work shift.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of previous Volkswagen technician experience at a dealership.
- Certifications: Current Volkswagen certifications are preferred.
- Vehicle Knowledge: Must have the ability to work on a wide variety of Volkswagen vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds is occasionally required.
