Job specification

• Perform clinical tasks such as rooming patients, administering immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider, and conducting laboratory specimen collections.

• Provide support for telephone communication, prescription refills, and coordination between patients and providers.

• Assist with x-ray duties and phlebotomy as needed, based on training and certification.

• Provide front desk and check-in support, stock supplies, and assist with prior authorizations.

Candidate requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and registered through a nationally accredited health services organization with successful credentialing exam completion.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and BLS certifications required.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting required.
